Claytor Lake Aquatics Base
The Claytor Lake Aquatics Base is located just 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Mountains Scout Reservation on a beautiful 4,500 acre highlands reservoir. Claytor Lake is an impoundment of the New River and is the largest body of water in Southwest Virginia. The Claytor Lake Program is designed to challenge and meet the needs of older Scouts. Water skiing, sailing, slide seat rowing, motorboating, and snorkeling are offered at this camp.
