Colonial Virginia Council will be sending 108 Scouts and 12 Scouters to the 2013 National Boy Scout Jamboree to be held July 15-24 at the brand new Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia.

Wahunsenakah Lodge members will be sporting a new two part patch set comprised of a special Lodge flap with matching pocket piece, designed by Scouter Ken Hampton. Since its founding in 1996 the Lodge has issued special patches for each of the National Jamborees, with the first two piece Jamboree set issued in 2010.

The two troops from CVC are A406 from Williamsburg and D312 from Newport News. Check out their Facebook page to keep up with their preparations to attend this historic Scout Jamboree!

Thanks for Barry Green, Adviser to the Wahunsenakah Lodge Insignia Design Committee, for sharing the artwork for the upcoming Jamboree patch set.
