Blue Heron issues 100th Anniv. of OA flap

Blue Heron Lodge 349 of Tidewater Council in Norfolk, VA recently issued a commemorative flap patch in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Order of the Arrow in 1915.

The flap is reminiscent of the first flap issued by Blue Heron Lodge in 1957, with the heron a light gray color rather than the later versions which featured light blue herons. The S12 and S13 versions of the Blue Heron Lodge standard flap issued in the mid-80’s also had gray herons.

The 100th Anniversary of the OA flap issued by Blue Heron includes the official centennial totem on the left side of the patch.
