2016 Nawakwa Lodge activity issues

Nawakwa Lodge 3, serving Heart of Virginia Council based in Richmond VA issued four event patches during 2016. Each shared a common design of a cardinal with outstretched wing superimposed over a flaming torch. The cardinal element cleverly includes the lodge number 3 and ‘WWW’ in the wing.
 
All of the issues include the the 2016 Lodge theme “Passing The Spirit” lettered in yellow, a gray FDL ghosted into the background next to the final ‘A’ in ‘Nawakwa,” and a yellow loop for hanging the patch from a uniform pocket flap button. A unique feature is the combination of cut (top) and rolled, or merrowed, edge (bottom). The lettering of the event name and bottom border colors varies among each event issue.
