Blue Heron issues 2018 NOAC fundraiser flaps

Blue Heron Lodge 349 of Tidewater Council in Norfolk, VA continued their tradition of issuing ghost flaps as fundraisers for the upcoming National Order of the Arrow Conference. The 2018 NOAC will be held July 30-August 4 at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. The monochromatic flaps feature the Lodge’s standard flap design, and this year’s ghost flaps are the primary colors of our Order, red and white.

The NOAC fundraising ghost flaps were first issued in 2009, in bright pink and neon green, with the lettering of each flap the background color of the other.

For the 2012 NOAC the fundraising ghost flaps were offered in a teal blue and neon orange, with the same lettering color scheme.

The 2015 NOAC fundraising ghost flaps increased in size to meet the new 5″ National standard for OA flap width and came in bright green and yellow.

Funds from the sale of the NOAC ghost flaps go to help defray contingent expenses related to traveling 750 miles from Norfolk to Bloomington.
